St Neots Foodbank

St Neots Foodbank

We support the St Neots Foodbank. We have a distribution centre here at the Open Door Church Centre, on Monday afternoons between 4pm and 6pm.

Other distribution centres in St Neots are:
St Neots United Reformed Church   Tuesday 10am-12 noon
Berkley Street Methodist Church     Thursday 4pm - 6pm
St Mary's Church Eaton Socon          Friday 10am - 12 noon

Here is a little bit of information about the foodbank, but you can also visit the St Neots Foodbank website.

The foodbank's main objective is the prevention and relief of poverty in St Neots and the surrounding area, particularly but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals and families in need.

While the provision of food to those in need as a crisis intervention is an important part of our mission, we also aim to 'signpost' individuals to other organisations who can help to address the underlying causes of the crisis.

St Neots Foodbank has been created as a collaborative action between ten St Neots churches working under the auspices of the Trussell Trust, the national Foodbank network. While the governance of the Foodbank is provided by the churches, it is fully inclusive and is a resource run by the community for the community, providing assistance to people of all backgrounds and all faiths or none who are found to be in genuine need.
