BIG DAY OUT
Meet us on Sunday the 23rd July, from11:30am, at the Caldecott Xperience Centre in Milton Keynes for our annual Church Big Day Out. There will be no meeting at the Priory Centre that day.
There will be the opportunity to take part in some of the activites that the centre offers such as a high ropes, water zorbing, climbing and archery. The centre also features large amounts of green space for sports and games. Please bring a picnic - a barbeque will be available to cook on too.
There is no fixed charge for the day, the centre are providing the space and activities free of charge, and centre staff are volunteering that day. Instead, we are asking for donations to a charity for children who have a rare genetic condition called Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome.
Jack who is three years old, and part of our opendoor church family has this condition and suffers with lots of health problems as a result. As RTS is so rare, and there are so many symptoms related to the condition, Jack is constantly being monitored by lots of health professionals who are doing a great job with little knowledge of the condition. The RTS UK support group are helping families and professionals to gain a greater understanding.
All funds raised during the church Big Day Out will go directly to the RTS UK support group to help them continue the invaluable support they are giving to families like Jack's.
Please remember when donating, we are getting a great day out, at a great venue, with great activities on offer. Even if you are unable to be there on the day, please consider a donation to this amazing charity.
